This medium sized Ceanothus is a dense growing evergreen shrub that bears masses of clusters of blue flowers in spring and early summer. Dense dark green foliage is attractive all year round. drained. For best results plant in a warm sheltered spot full sun and make

will flourish in the poorest of soils. Ceanothus do not appreciate the cold
or shade. Prune lightly to shape in early Spring.

sun where it can be left to form a reliable no-nonsense ground cover in the
toughest of spots. It should be trimmed back to shape after flowering to
retain shape but other than that should look after itself so just avoid shade
and wet soils.
